Hello all, I am a Florida International University undergraduate student triple majoring in a BS in Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, and Natural and Applied Science. I am on the pre-med track and teach Algebra I and II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus (Honors and AP), Calculus I and II (college level), Biology (Honors and AP), and Chemistry (Honors and AP). I am also willing to assist students in writing essays for classes helping them outline the essay, proofread it, and offer college level feed back. If you have any suggestions I can personalize the method which I teach according to your needs.
A typical lesson plan consists of a dynamic approach between teaching and applying the material learned. For instance in an algebra lesson I may cover over the key learning concepts of how to find the distance between two plotted points providing formulas and then I would show practice problems and solve myself and move on to practice problem so that the student can build confidence with the subject. What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to change my lesson structure depending on the students needs whether it be homework help or learning the material from scratch. The lessons are for anyone ranging from middle school, and highschool all the way to the college level. Some subjects are touched in middle school and I can certainly make outlines for how the students should be doing their work while in college but most of the tutoring I offer is for highschool student taking advanced courses like AP or honors.
