About Lyam
Hello, I'm Lyam Katz, an active chess player from Canada. My greatest online wins as of now are 2 wins vs GM Benjamin Finegold, 2 wins vs WFM, and 4 wins vs FM. I've also recently won the U1900 section of a tournament. I have experience coaching chess to kids at a local chess club.

For me the 2 biggest steps to improvement have been game review and puzzles. I am rated 3100 puzzles on chess com. Therefore for my lessons I would review your games with you and we would do puzzles together. We can also discuss opening choices which will come with the game analysis.
