My teaching method usually a lot of visuals since anatomy and physiology is a very visual subject. I break down content-heavy subjects with a summary since anatomy and physiology is a content-heavy course. My typical lesson plan would be to address the topic and area of confusion for students and work on a lecture from it. these lessons are for many pre-health/health students who have to take two semesters of anatomy and physiology.
