About Harnoor
I am an incoming 4th-year Health Sciences student with a 95+ high school average and a 3.9+ university GPA. Alongside over 3 years of tutoring experience, I also have research experience in qualitative methods and am happy to support students who are interested in developing or starting their own research projects.
I am passionate about helping students build confidence, strengthen their understanding, and develop strong study skills that last beyond a single course. I aim to create a supportive, structured, and professional learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and actively engaging with the material.
I have successfully supported previous students in improving their performance in physics and chemistry, helping them move from struggling with core concepts to achieving strong, confident results in their courses. These outcomes come from breaking down difficult material, targeted practice, and exam-focused preparation.

My tutoring approach is highly personalized and focused on helping each student learn in a way that actually works for them.
My teaching methodology emphasizes breaking down complex concepts into simple, understandable steps, followed by active practice to reinforce learning. I focus heavily on identifying gaps early and strengthening foundations before moving into application-based questions.
A typical session starts with a quick review of previous material, followed by targeted teaching of new concepts and guided examples. The majority of the time is spent on practice questions, with real-time feedback. I also regularly incorporate mock exams and timed practice to build confidence and improve test performance.
What sets me apart is my commitment to fully customized learning. I offer a free initial meeting to understand each student’s goals, learning style, and current level. From there, every session is specifically tailored to them rather than following a generic plan. I’ve found through experience that this individualized approach leads to the strongest results.
I tutor middle school to first-year university students in math, biology-related courses, chemistry/physics, and reading comprehension. I have experience teaching both in-person and online via Zoom, allowing for flexible and accessible support.
