Hi!
I'm Josh and with 10 years of experience in the classroom and a passion for teaching, my premium tutoring services are perfect for students looking to reach their potential. Not only have I been Head of Maths at a Birmingham secondary school, but I'm also an experienced educational consultant and teacher trainer.
I hold a physics degree from the University of Birmingham and help students understand the mysteries of maths every day. My expertise stretches far beyond surface-level concepts, as I've spent countless hours understanding common misconceptions and where students struggle the most.

My tutoring approach is devoted to meeting the needs of each individual student, creating an environment where learning is enjoyable and interactive. To differentiate my teaching method, I focus on uncovering any gaps in understanding and then devising a clear plan to help the student excel in these areas.
I'm passionate about maths and will give students the tools they need to reach their fullest potential. My lessons usually last between 60-90 minutes, offering further comfort and security as you make your way through GCSEs/iGCSE's, A-levels, IB or other exams/mock exams.
No matter what age or level you're at, I strive to make learning engaging yet friendly. During our tutoring sessions, I'll always ensure that I'm aware of where the student's current level is by utilizing regular questioning techniques. Moreover, for parents interested in how their child is improving within my classes I offer regular progress reports so that everyone involved can stay up to date with achievements.
