Lessons are open to ordinary and higher level leaving cert biology. My approach to lessons is to let the student direct the lesson- if they are struggling with a particular topic, that’s what we will focus on in the lesson and I will answer any specific questions they may have and try to improve their understanding of the topic. Once I get to know the student and what topics they need the most help with, I create a study plan/ timetable for what we will cover in each lesson. I have plenty of great resources/notes to share with students from when I was studying biology for my Leaving Cert, including slideshows, detailed notes, textbooks and exam papers.

Hazel is very knowledgeable and passionate about biology. She gave grinds to my daughter, who passed with a H1 due to Hazel's dedication and clarity in explaining all concepts of the Leaving Cert course. I would highly recommend Hazel.
I found biology grinds with Hazel to be very positive and a great help. I liked how the lessons were structured and suited to my needs. Hazel was very clear with her explanations and offered many tips and tricks on how to maximize marks on my higher level leaving cert paper. I went from a H4 in my mocks to a H1 with help from Hazel
