About Nikoletta
I am a 2nd-year Biology student with a great passion for the study of microbiology, virology and parasitology. Throughout the duration of my gap year I created an online business wherein I could continue developing and sharing biological knowledge through tutoring. I learnt to alter my style of teaching relative to each student and practised psychological tools so as to increase engagement and alleviate the stress associated with education. Primarily, my focus lay in mastering the ‘Cambridge’ and ‘Edexcel’ ‘A-Level Biology’ curriculum, setting goals and creating an inspiring student environment.

I am deeply passionate about Biology and wish to help engage and prepare I/GCSE and A-level students for their examinations. This role requires sharing primary guidelines and making time for each student in order to alleviate their anxieties. I understand the importance of student engagement, hence I focus on cognitive practices to induce memory and ensure attentiveness, providing a productive yet engaging environment where the subject can be correctly grasped.
