About Jose

I consider myself a lucky man. My parents raised a middle-class family of six siblings and taught us to be honest, respectful, and humble. They said in life we will make mistakes but, we have to learn from them. Sometimes we will face challenges but, we have to find a way to solve them. They left us the best inheritance possible: a good education.
Again a new challenge comes into my life. This time, for reasons besides the point, I was forced to migrate from my country. And if before I had the help of English to support myself, this time I have resorted to Spanish.
I have come to the conclusion that bilingualism is not only speaking another language but also acquiring an insight into another culture.

About the lesson

As a young man From Venezuela, I had the opportunity to attend High School and College in the United States. I am a graduate of Murray Staes University. Received my bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a major in Finance. As a byproduct of my education, I became a bilingual professional. Dedicated a good portion of my life working for different sectors of the economy and being bilingual made a difference.
A while back I felt the urge to do something different with my life, and the knowledge of English allowed me to do it. I became an English Teacher and if I had known the satisfaction I obtain from Teaching I would have done it earlier. I found students striving with the Reading and Writing portions of Standardised Tests, and after classes with a mixture of knowledge and amusement, it was very rewarding seeing them obtain the highest grades possible in their exams, allowing them to enter any school of their choice.
