About Rachel
You deserve to feel as comfortable singing in a room full of people as you do in your own shower. I teach because I want to demystify the mechanics of the voice for adults, teens, and returning learners alike. Having worked with hundreds of students, I know how to turn anxiety into genuine performance confidence. My lessons are designed for hobbyists and grade exam candidates who want to expand their range without losing their unique vocal character.
I have seen how a few simple shifts in breathing control can change everything for a singer. It is a pleasure to watch someone find the resonance they did not know they had. I enjoy the process of vocal discovery. Come join me for a session whenever you feel ready to start.

Imagine standing on a stage and feeling the air fill your lungs naturally before you hit that first high note. I focus on the transition between head and chest voice to ensure your belting technique is both powerful and sustainable. Drawing on my 5 years of experience and my degree from Berea College, I guide you through specific warm up exercises and rhythm phrasing.
We work on pitch control by listening to the subtle nuances of great singers rather than just staring at sheet music. It is essential that we address your specific vocal range extension and vibrato control in every meeting. I believe that singing is an oral tradition that relies on hearing the music before you produce it.
We will tackle the technical side of breathing and placement so you can focus on the soul of the performance. I want to make sure you have the tools to sing clearly and safely. We will just take it one note at a time.
