About Nikki
"Standing in a dusty music room at university, I realized that voice is an instrument that requires precise mechanics. That moment sparked a career spanning 10 years of teaching singers how to master DICTION AND ARTICULATION, TONE AND RESONANCE, and complex SIGHT SINGING. My BFA Music Industry degree from Victoria University of Wellington keeps my approach grounded in the reality of the industry.
I love helping students navigate the tricky transitions between head and chest voice or finding the right belting technique. We spend time on microphone technique, warm-up exercises, and vibrato control to build actual stage presence. It is genuinely fun to see someone gain performance confidence after finally mastering their unique rhythm and phrasing."
