About Amber
I was born in Hong Kong and went to an international school there. I studied English Language and Literature, Business Management and Psychology- Higher level. I was a part of many extracurricular activities, I organised dance lessons for younger students in my school, organised runs for charity and upon graduation decided to further my studies in English in Canada. Due to Covid-19, my family and I were made to move to the UK where I studied Sociology with Social Psychology. Having 2 younger siblings as well as growing up in a large extended family, I’ve always loved working with children and helping them grow. I am patient and hardworking and my goal as your tutor would be to help you reach your goals in improving your English.

Ideally the first half an hour of the first lesson will be used to deduce the student’s level of fluency in English and what is needed to improve on. Based on that, future lessons will be used to focus on helping the students improve their English to reach a level of their satisfaction. Has experience in helping students prepare for the SATs as well as IELTS if needed.
