About Koa
Hi, I’m Koa! I’m a friendly, patient and approachable tutor who wants to make learning feel less stressful and more enjoyable. As a current Year 11 student, I understand how challenging school can sometimes be, and I know how helpful it can be to have someone explain things in a simple and encouraging way.
I focus on building confidence as well as improving understanding. I take the time to explain concepts clearly, work through examples and practice questions, and adapt lessons to suit each student’s learning style and needs. I aim to create a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions and making mistakes.
I am reliable, organized and committed to helping students reach their goals. My lessons are suited to younger students and high school students who need extra support, help with understanding topics, or want to build their confidence and study skills.

I explain concepts in simple terms, use examples and practice questions, and adjust my teaching style to suit each student’s learning needs. Lessons are usually around 45–60 minutes, with time for explanation, practice and questions. I am a Year 11 student and can relate to younger students because I am currently completing my own senior school studies. My lessons are best suited to primary and lower high school students who need extra support, help understanding difficult topics, or assistance with study and assessment preparation.
