I've been a high school and middle school teacher for nearly 20 years, in addition to private tutoring. I've helped thousands of students find better understanding of their material and advance on to high school, college, and beyond. I've taught mostly English, but many other social studies courses and more over the years.

My method is fairly flexible and based on the needs and strengths of the student(s). In creating classroom curriculum, I prioritize writing, but in tutoring, I mostly just cater to the individual needs of the student. Developing a rapport with students is important to me rather than just handing down assignments and grades.
