About Maddy
Born and raised in Melbourne, however I am currently based in Colombia. I have spent the last 5 years travelling, volunteering and working abroad and in different parts of Australia, giving me access and opportunities to understand and explore new cultures and different experiences. During this time, I have been lucky enough to come to understand different perspectives in the world and I believe this has helped me become a better teacher.
My hobbies include hiking, yoga, cooking, dancing and drinking tea. My favourite music is jazz, hip-hop and electronic. I currently live on a farm in semi-rural Colombia and I'm learning about sustainablity, Spanish and hoping to learn salsa, too!

I have a 120 Hour TEFL certificate and over 2 years experience. I have taught ESL in Vietnam, Portugal, Colombia and online. I have experience with people from all types of different countries and backgrounds. I have worked with children younger than 2 all the way to adults. I have experience with all levels, A1 to C2.
My classes are student-centred, we work together to help you achieve the goals you are after. I am patient, enthusiastic and friendly. Whatever your level or your goal, I'm here to help you become more confident and fluent with your english! I always check in with my students as classes progress, ensuring that you are happy with the classes.
Classes with me are most beneficial from minimum 30 to 90 minutes, however longer is of course possible!
