About Kyle
Music has been part of my life for more than 12 years. I started producing around age 11. I only learned music production because I wanted to be able to express myself creatively as a singer-songwriter. I first began learning music production in FL Studio before expanding into Ableton Live, Pro Tools, then BandLab. To learn Ableton, I would watch countless YouTube videos and I had a mentor in high school teach me music production. I still produce today and also perform live as a jazz pianist at local venues.'
Alongside music, I spent two years teaching general education in the classroom. I truly LOVED this experience. I enjoy working with children and people from all different backgrounds, and teaching has helped me become a patient, flexible, and encouraging instructor.

I believe that learning all types of music should not be an intimidating process. After all, we are simply trying to have fun.
I'm a patient teacher who believes there is no such thing as a dumb question. If something doesn’t make sense the first time, I’m happy to explain it in a different way, slow things down, or give you the space to work through it. At the same time, I’ll challenge you to step outside of your comfort zone when I know you’re ready to grow.
My lessons are goal-oriented and personalized to each student. You can come in with specific goals, whether that’s finishing your first song, learning your DAW of choice, improving your mixes, understanding music theory, or creating a certain style of music; or we can identify those goals together during our first lessons.
These lessons are especially designed for beginner music producers who want more than just a YouTube tutorial... I've been there and done that. My goal is to help you understand why things work, not simply tell you which buttons to press. Along the way, I can answer questions about music theory, sound design, recording, arrangement, mixing, and the creative process.
Most importantly, I want to help you build the skills and confidence to become an independent musician and producer. The goal isn’t for you to need a teacher forever, it’s to give you the tools to experiment, solve problems, trust your ears, and create music on your own.
