About Janet
I have a great passion for supporting students who struggle in their academics. By the time I reached 2nd grade- I was not able to read, write, nor do mathematics. It was my 2nd grade teacher who taught me how to read; after that I was able to write, and succeed in my other subjects. Therefore; I make it a point to provide the academic support that you need. This is why I chose to be a teacher and obtain my Masters as a Reading and Literacy Specialist.

My lessons are based around your needs. Whether it’s comprehension, working on multisyllabic words, I have worked with students whom have dyslexia as well, test taking skills, I am here to give you the support you need to succeed. I am available evenings and weekends. You are welcome to call or text me with any questions you may have at anytime. Texting during the day M-F and I can take calls after 5pm during those days. Weekends I am available anytime after 10am. I am here for you.
