About Collin
Beginning students often find the math intimidating until we break it down into manageable components. I work with everyone from struggling undergraduates to professionals who need to clear up their understanding of p-values and significance.
Descriptive statistics and correlation are the foundations we build upon before tackling statistical inference or chi-square tests. I have taught 499 students over the course of my career and find that patience is the best tool for clarity. My own path to understanding ANOVA was gradual, and I appreciate the time it takes to process these concepts.

Effective learning happens when we step away from rote memorization and move into active problem solving. During our initial meeting, I evaluate your current knowledge of hypothesis testing to set our starting point. My 13 years of experience allow me to identify exactly where a concept is breaking down, whether it is in the setup or the final calculation. As a BSc Computer Science graduate from Carnegie Mellon University, I bring a logical, methodical structure to every session.
We examine data sets side by side to ensure you see the patterns as I do. I truly enjoy the moment a student finally recognizes the logic behind a complex statistical model. My commitment is to keep the pacing steady so that you remain challenged without feeling overwhelmed. You will find that I am always here to answer your questions until the logic clicks into place.
