About Assumpta

As a civil engineer based in the DMV area, my professional expertise lies in constructing high rise mixed use buildings. Yet, beyond my role in construction, lies a passion deeply rooted in French language and culture. With a degree in French from a prestigious university, I've delved into the intricacies of this beautiful language and its rich literary heritage. My academic journey was enriched further by a transformative semester studying in Tours, France, where I immersed myself in the vibrant culture, refined my language skills, and forged lasting connections. Living with a French family during this time provided me with an authentic glimpse into daily life, fostering a profound appreciation for French customs and traditions. Moreover, growing up in a semi-francophone country nurtured my linguistic aptitude from an early age, shaping my identity and worldview. While my primary focus remains on engineering, my love for French language and culture continues to inspire me, adding depth and diversity to both my personal and professional pursuits.
