About Hailey
About me is I'm 21 years old. To tell you more about my experience, I have volunteered and helped in Pre-K and Kindergarten classrooms with reading and comprehending what they were learning and doing spelling too. Later on in high school for my senior year, I helped teens with disabilities learn in a special education class. A little bit about my history is I had issues learning growing up; for me, it was math. I also got the looks and stares from my classmates, even sometimes my teachers, and it made me feel bad about myself like I wasn't good enough, so I can imagine what your child feels. That's why I wanted to do this, to help so your child can feel confident with themselves again and so they can learn in a helpful way.

In lessons with reading we will go over the sentence. If your child gets stuck on a word, we sound it out in sections; if not, we will try a different method.
In lessons with spelling, we would go over how to memorize the word in sections but also sounding out in sections that can also be used in reading too. If those methods don't work, we will try a different method, and over time I will get to understand how your child learns and understands, because I'm not the type to give up, especially when it comes to your child that's trying to learn.
