About Alannah
I have been a tutor for a local family for a year and am looking to take on more students. I am currently studying Mathematical methods, chemistry, physics and accounting. I have won prizes in the Australian Maths Competition, maths olympiad and many others. The most fulfilling thing about tutoring for me, is when a student final understands a concept or technique they have been struggling to wrap their head around.

My lessons are typically one hour in length, The lesson goal is largely directed by what the child is currently studying at school or areas that they struggle with. I try to break the techniques and skills down into smaller approachable ideas that the student can understand. I take time in learning what type of learner my students are, whether that be visual or auditory etc.
