My name is Jean. I am originally from the Caribbean and am 38 years old. I hold two bachelor's degrees—one in Computer Science and another in Theology. I have earned eight international mathematics certifications, as well as certifications in teaching. I have worked as a mathematics educator for 14 years, eleven of which were within the French educational system and three in the American system. My teaching experience encompasses Basic Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I and II, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Geometry, and Probability. I am passionate about teaching mathematics because I truly enjoy working with numbers. This year, I obtained two additional certifications—one in Operations Leadership and another in Data Analytics. As a tutor or educator, my objective is to inspire students to develop a passion for mathematics. I utilize approaches such as active engagement, providing constructive feedback, and individualized instruction to support student learning.
