About Monalisha
I am a western vocals teacher, a performer and most importantly a music student as well. I have started my music classes since I was just 9 years old and I have not stopped learning music ever since.
I am very passionate and curious about everything related to music and I feel that teaching somehow really helps me learn new things about music even while imparting knowledge. How great is that?
I am also a pianist but I do not teach piano online.
I also really emphasise on teaching the importance of music theory while also ensuring that it never feels like it is limiting your music in any way. Because in reality that is the truth of music theory. Its just a tool to make music easier for you and you can break free of the rules as well whenever you feel the need to.

My main teaching philosophy is that, teaching is the best way to learn for a teacher. I mostly teach kids and I approach the topics in a very simpler manner, even the complex ones. I really like to use real like analogies as I feel that is the best way to explain and understand any topic. I have few very dedicated adult students as well because that is how I expect the grown up students to be. I also have experience teaching children and teens with special needs. The topics that I teach to my students are very much individually tailored because I genuinely don't believe in the one size fits all concept.
