About Mason
I have a bachelors degree in environmental science from the University of Washington and I currently work in an environmental testing lab as a laboratory technician. I have an extensive background in the sciences with personal interests in mycology, botany, soil science and entomology!

My primary goal is to make science fun and accessible! I take a laid back and explorative approach, with the first step being knowing what we don't know - establishing what topics are the most difficult. Then taking that information to build a customized lesson plan from the ground up - making sure you have a full understanding of any introductory concepts before graduating to the big stuff. I establish a comfortable and welcoming environment, where there are no bad questions and you can feel free to explore the wonderful world of science with any support you may need!
