About Samuel
I am incredibly passionate about my subject and I have spent the last three years studying and completing my degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Oxford. I am a keen teacher who loves to get people excited about my subject, and to share my passion with others! If you are looking to engage with any part of English, as a language or the study of literature, or if you are preparing for exams, I can help you! My lessons can be structured around whatever you are interested in personally, and I am excited to share my knowledge and experience with you in any way that will help.

Typical lesson length is anywhere from 1-2 hours. I will provide suggested reading, advice on exam technique and exercises to practise comprehension skills, close analysis and understanding of texts. I will also do conversation lessons for those looking to practise and improve their English speaking ability. I will also offer lessons and advice on applying to university and the UCAS process, particularly for those looking to apply to Oxford/Cambridge. I am also happy to mark work with feedback, and help to edit university applications! My lessons are suitable for anyone, all the way from GCSE students to those looking at studying English at university. This includes those who simply would like to improve their English as a second language.
