About Karissa
I have been a teacher, nanny and childcare practitioner. I have adored each child and role. The only thing I was not able to do was give them my undivided attention and the one on one time they needed. I know that with my skill set and expertise, I can give each student the support and personalksed learning they need to succeed.

As a teacher, I am aware each student learns and retains information differently. Initially, I provide a range of methods until the most efficient and comfortable method is clear. Learning is personal and needs to be tailored to you. This could be strongly visual, kinesthically, verbally, visually or a combination of a few. I encourage celebration of small and big successes to increase self confidence and independence.
