About Siege
My name is Carl but others call me CJ. Teaching has been my passion ever since I started this career in 2007. Most of my tenure as an ESL teacher has been in an online setting. For almost 20 years, I have honed my skills in sharing knowledge and information through video and voice calls. However, I broadened my teaching skills when I did my classes face to face in a classroom and also one on one tutoring sessions in my time when I lived in China. Aside from English, I also taught Science to middle school students. This is one of my best teaching experiences and I will cherish this for the rest of my life.

I teach English online via Teams, Zoom and KakaoTalk. I use books such as Let's Go for kids. For adults, I usually use articles online (Breaking News) and/or free talk depending on the level of the student.
I am a visual teacher. I use the share screen function to show my lessons and I use a whiteboard for my younger students. I love to draw so I utilize this to engage my students in expanding their vocabulary.
My classes are fun and creative. Aside from the artistic approach, I also teach very energetically but depending on the student's preference.
