About MARIE
My name is Marie and I am a passionate of French language, I have been a teacher assistant for 20 years and retired 2 years ago.
Before engaging with my student, I always analyse the current level of knowledge, skills and understanding of the subject, I always give my student time to adjust and ask as many questions as possible. It is very important to engage with each other as learning is giving and receiving information about the knowledge of both for the trainer and the learner.
Different students have different learning styles, preferences, and needs. Therefore, I always offer them multiple ways of accessing, processing, and expressing the content, I use different strategies and tools to increase their motivation to improve their learning and I also ask my student to set their own learning goals and monitor their progress.

I use strategies that will allow students to understand the concepts of the subject and language.
I usually work with primary students and the length of the lesson is 45-60mins depending on levels.
I don’t have any formal qualifications in French but French was part of my study back home and i successfully achieved my French BAC CERTIFICATION. I taught myself some strategies and learnt a lot from many of my fellows French teachers who encouraged me to be a French tutor.
