About Taylor
Hello! My name is Taylor, and I have a Bachelor of Science in Biology.
I have a genuine passion for helping others learn and believe that every student is capable of succeeding with the right support and encouragement. I know that science can sometimes feel overwhelming, so I strive to create a relaxed, judgment-free environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.
My goal is not simply to help students complete homework or prepare for an exam—I want them to truly understand the material and develop confidence in their abilities.

I believe the best learning happens when students understand why something works rather than simply memorizing facts. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and interactive. I break complex topics into smaller, manageable concepts and use real-world examples, diagrams, practice questions, and active discussion to help students build confidence. I encourage students to ask questions throughout each lesson and adapt my explanations to match their individual learning style.
A typical lesson begins by reviewing previous material and identifying any areas of confusion. We then work through new concepts step by step, followed by guided practice and application using sample problems or activities. I finish each session with a brief review, strategies for independent study, and recommendations for what to practice before our next meeting.
