I’ve been tutoring since I was in Year 11. I’m currently working in finance but really miss teaching and helping students learn. I find building a rapport with students really helps them to open up about what they’re struggling with, as well.

I tend to focus on reinforcing what is being taught at school, but also find it very important to focus on prior knowledge gaps as well. Assignment review and consistent assessment prep are also integral to ensuring hard work translates to improved outcomes
