About Edwin
I'm currently an undergraduate at Harvard College studying Mathematics with an interest in Educational Studies. Having grown up in a minority, low-income household, I have admired the care and attention provided by many of my teachers. I strive to reflect that care and extend it beyond a student's academic interests. Fortunately I have had the wonderful opportunity of serving my fellow students in a variety of contexts. I started in high school by holding Physics review sessions with many of my struggling high school peers, and now I find myself as a Teaching Assistant for Harvard's calculus courses. Beyond my academic interests, I also enjoy family, ultimate frisbee, and all things nerd culture.

Hi there! As a student myself, I understand how challenging it can be to find quality, individualized, and dedicated support outside of school. As a prospective educator, I also understand that challenging subjects like Math and Physics are infamously discouraging for most students who otherwise enjoy STEM. As such, I've been a tutor and mentor for over four years, both in high school and now as an undergraduate at Harvard. In that time I've dedicated myself to not only supporting students academically, but also in developing their own identities in STEM. Specifically, I enjoy serving students in all levels of Math up to Linear Algebra (including high school math and AP), as well as high school Physics.
