I've tutored previously incarcerated youth via the Petey Greene Program, completed research at three different Universities (Harvard Medical School, UPMC, HBKU), and have a great passion for teaching!
In my free time, I like to cook, hang out with friends, and go for runs!

I typically begin with a top-down approach to tutoring - fixing any contextual gaps that make details harder to understand. I have a large focus on the "why" things happen - allowing students to develop their own inferences and critical thinking skills with a large focus on active participation via problem solving.
