About Ebika
Hey future students, I’m Atlas - I know this is rather colloquial for the tone I create throughout this post, but I believe the most important thing about being a teacher is also being someone you never feel intimidated to approach. I’m a writer of all forms, mainly poetry and scripts. In the future I’d love to be a film director and possibly even publish my own book. I’ve always wanted to teach and inspire other people to be great at everything they do. Like most people unfortunately experienced, the majority of my teachers simply didn’t care. But, the ones that did are some of the people who still have a positive influence on my work till this day. I’d like to pay my knowledge forward and assist you in becoming a well rounded individual within your studies and beyond. I believe you have the power to be a leader, innovator and simply be great. All it takes is an extra push to reach your maximum potential!

My teaching is a combination of immersive and conversational lessons, wherby we analyse relevant historical context and strike debate about the abundance of arguments that may be used to construct a thought provoking essay.
My approach leaves space for creativity and wonder and encourages students to find their own field within writing. I believe that writing is a gift that shouldn’t be contained and students will have a safe space to explore the depth of their ideas, finding confidence to become auteurs in styles they wish to later develop beyond our lessons.
I will begin with assessments and finding points of weakness in their study and make it a target of improvement. I wish to challenge students to study beyond their understanding, granting them the autonomy for to explore texts that they show interest in and nurture them in becoming advanced writers and analysts.
