About Tarina
I graduated from Harvard College Summa Cum Laude with a major in Social Sciences and a minor in Ethnic Studies. I will be attending Stanford Law School next year. I've tutored middle/high school students for the past 4 years helping them ideate and edit essays, understand how to tackle reading comprehension, and make plans for larger projects. My priority is making a plan that works for you. I will do all I can to meet you where you are and get you to the level you're looking to be!

The entirety of my career and education has been centered around reading comprehension, persuasive writing, and public speaking. I know that these subjects can be particularly difficult for many students because there is no explicit formulate that tells you how to read, write, or speak correctly. Given this, I provide students with strategies and approaches that can be utilized for any assignment. I will work with you to edit your essays, unpack difficult reading materials, or practice your speeches as many times as you need, providing specific feedback and strategies. If you let me know what you're struggling with, I will customize lessons to ensure success.
