About Yanai
I believe everyone can learn and feel confident in a subject they lack expertise in. Just because one struggles to understand the teachings of one teacher, it does not mean they cannot understand the teachings of another. With my knowledge of reading and math, I can confidently say I can teach the student to the best of my abilities through my passion for helping and teaching others. I have always helped my younger brother who is in two grades below me with schoolwork. Not only did I help him with schoolwork, I gave him guided lessons I organized and prepared myself with the help of platforms like PowerPoint and NewsELA. I have also taught my peers and large groups of little children in grades K-3. Additionally, I am currently moving into my Junior year of high school and do advanced coursework.

I try my best to have casual and chill tutoring sessions. As for my teaching method, I do not have a specific one. I keep an open mind when it comes to understanding that everyone has their own way of learning. With that being said, I adjust my way of teaching depending on the student and their way of learning. My lessons are for students who are in the 5th grade and under.
