About Millie
I started studying the Maths GCSE in year eight as my sister suggested and finished the course at the start of Year 9. Then I took the GCSE in the Summer of Year 9 and took Level 2 Further Maths in Year 10 (Summer 2025). I have been tutoring two students, one who is my peer (Year 11) and one who is two years below (currently Year 9). I love to see them develop their problem-solving skills and learn new concepts. I appreciate students lead very busy lives so I am more than happy to have a flexible schedule where possible. I’m extremely passionate about learning and realising your potential. I took Chinese GCSE last year and achieved a 9. In school I am currently predicted all 9’s for my other GCSEs and aim to take Maths and Further Maths at A level. My overall mark for Maths GCSE was 232/240 and the mark for Further Maths was 157/160.

I will happily go through any questions or difficult subjects you are covering in school. We can cover difficult homework, revise for tests or go over test results. Alternatively, I can teach you the specification a unit at a time to get ahead on future topics! I can also set homework and exercises to strengthen anything we go over. I understand all parts of the specification (especially AQA) as I recently took the exams myself. Therefore I will be able to teach you the topics in a compressed format I used to get a 9 or break it down into parts like a lesson at school. I have access to both a computer and an iPad with an Apple Pen so annotations and whiteboards won’t interrupt the flow even in an online lesson.
