About Luis

I'm a Year 11 student at Boys' High School with a strong passion for languages and helping others learn. As a fluent Spanish speaker, I enjoy making language learning engaging, approachable, and enjoyable for students of all levels.

Being a student myself allows me to understand the challenges that young learners face when studying a new language. I focus on creating a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building their confidence step by step.

I am reliable, patient, and committed to helping each student achieve their goals. My lessons are tailored to the individual's needs, whether they want to improve their conversational Spanish, strengthen their grammar and vocabulary, prepare for school assessments, or gain confidence speaking the language.

Although I am a student rather than a qualified teacher, I bring enthusiasm, strong communication skills, and firsthand experience of effective study techniques. I strive to make every lesson well-prepared, professional, and enjoyable, helping students develop both their Spanish skills and their confidence in using the language.

I welcome students aged 14–17 who are looking for friendly, personalized support in their Spanish learning journey.

While I do not currently hold formal teaching qualifications, I have a strong understanding of the subjects I tutor and a genuine passion for helping students learn. I am patient, approachable, and committed to helping students improve their skills, confidence, and academic performance. Through explaining concepts to peers and supporting others with their studies, I have developed effective communication and teaching skills.
