About Amanda
I have been interested in biology as something I wanted to do for the rest of my life since I was in late elementary school. Ever since then I have dedicated my life to learning as much as I possibly could in the field. I hold sessions with students in my classes to learn more with them. I also occasionally help with students in classes I have already completed.

I find that I am able to change my approach to teaching to the needs of the individual. I am able to adapt learning styles and ways of explaining easily. While I am knowledgeable in the subjects I teach I am also always open to learning more with the students about things that interest them as well. Biology, psychology and chemistry are passions of mine and I enjoy teaching it which makes a huge difference when learning. You can usually tell a teacher who likes the subject vs one that doesn't and it truly changes things. This is why I'd be good to teach these subjects to the 12th grade level.
