About Soumya
I am a Bharatanatyam performer and teacher. Apart from being sanskrit master degree holder and serving many institutions as lecturer for about 6 years, I decided to dedicate my full attention toward dance and resigned my ajob as sanskrit lecturer.
But the teaching experience and the dance learning experience have added to my understanding and teaching methods in dance aswell.
Also as the literature is one of the important aspects in Indian dance, knowing sanskrit helps me a lot.
In my master degree programs wrote research thesis on the endangered styles of Karnataka.
