About Hafsa
Hi, I’m [Hafsa Usmani].
I’m a Political Science teacher with an MA in the subject and 5+ years of guiding students through CBSE, and college-level courses. I didn’t choose Political Science — it chose me. The first time I understood how a single line in the Constitution shapes our daily rights, I knew I had to help others see that connection too.
I share my knowledge because I believe democracy works best when we actually understand it. My classroom is where headlines meet textbooks. We debate, we map ideas, we ask tough questions, and we connect theory to the world outside your window.
My promise to you: no topic is “too boring” if we approach it right. I’ll make sure you leave class with clarity, confidence, and maybe a few opinions you didn’t walk in with.
Let’s make sense of politics together — and maybe even enjoy it.
I believe Political Science isn’t just a subject — it’s how we understand the world we live in. With 5+ years of teaching experience and a Master’s in Political Science, I help students move beyond rote learning to real understanding.
My classes are interactive, discussion-based, and always connected to current events. Whether it’s the Indian Constitution, global politics, or exam prep, I break down complex ideas into clear, engaging lessons.
My goal is simple: help you think critically, score confidently, and actually enjoy the subject. I look forward to learning with you.

1. Simulations & Role Play
- Crisis Cabinet: Give them a political crisis with 10 mins to negotiate a solution
Turns abstract theory into lived experience.
2. Case Study Method
Start with a real event Emergency in India. Work backwards to the concepts: legitimacy, sovereignty, civil liberties. Students see why theory matters.
3. Devil's Advocate Debates
Assign students to argue positions they personally disagree with. "Defend authoritarianism" or "Argue against free speech". Forces nuance and kills echo chambers.
4. Contemporary Anchoring
Open every class with 5 mins on today's headlines. Connect Supreme Court rulings, elections, or protests to your syllabus topic. Shows the subject is alive, not textbook history.
5. Visual Mapping
Use flowcharts for "How a Bill Becomes Law", mind maps for ideologies, or timelines for revolutions. Politics is messy — make it visual.
6.Quick tip for style:
Want me to build a sample lesson plan using 2-3 of these for a specific topic like "Fundamental Rights" or "Cold War"?
7. The classes are intended for schools.
