About Liam
Hello everyone!
I'm Liam, and my goal is to show you that Physics and Maths aren't scary! I completed my bachelors degree in Physics from UoSheffield this year, so I know what it is like to be a student... it can be challenging.
But that is why I want to help you build confidence in Physics and Maths by breaking it down into baby steps! I want to make learning simple and fun, and help you build up to your GCSE's.
For students who love Physics and Maths, and just want a helping hand to reach those top grades, and for students who can find them overwhelming (like me in my GCSE's!), we can work together to meet your targets!
As someone who has dyslexia, and found secondary school difficult myself, I will always be patient and ready to learn in whatever way works best for you!

My goal is to show you that maths and physics don't have to be scary! My approach is about building confidence before building knowledge, and I always encourage you ask as many questions as possible!
Sessions last around 60 minutes, and the pace will be tailored to your needs. For new pupils, parents are encouraged to come along for the session so together we can make sure the lesson plan matches the pupil.
A big focus of the sessions is to talk about the concepts, ask questions, and understand it fully before we start to work through problems. When the pupil feels confident, we will look at question solving techniques and work through more difficult problems together. I show pupils the 'toolbox' technique, and give them a framework they can apply to any topic.
