About Md Fahim
I started playing at nine, on acoustic. Fingerstyle became my biggest strength, especially percussive playing, thumb slaps, and building full-sounding arrangements on a single guitar.
I bought my first electric in 2020 and have spent the years since developing my lead playing and technique. My playing now covers everything from acoustic fingerstyle and pop arrangements to anime/J-rock, rock and metal, including challenging solos by players like John Petrucci, Synyster Gates and Dimebag Darrell.
I also make guitar content online. One of my videos has passed 110,000 views and another is close to 60,000.
What I enjoy most about teaching is getting someone to the point where the guitar becomes a way to express themselves, whether that's playing their favorite songs, improvising, or creating their own arrangements.

My lessons are built around one idea. You should learn guitar through music you actually want to play.
There's structure and progression, but I don't push every student through the same rigid program. First I find out where you want to go, then I build the lessons around that. Want to learn your favourite anime or J-rock song? We'll work on it. Want to play an English pop song acoustically? We'll arrange it for guitar. Want to tackle a difficult electric solo? We'll break it down technique by technique until you can play it with confidence.
On acoustic, I teach fingerstyle, Travis picking, rhythm and percussive techniques, and how to create your own fingerstyle arrangements instead of only copying tabs.
On electric, we can work on rhythm playing, riffs, lead, solos, improvisation, phrasing, speed, alternate picking, and rock and metal technique, all through the songs and guitarists that inspire you.
I also teach practical theory and ear training, so you understand why things work and can figure out songs yourself instead of memorizing shapes.
Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced player looking to level up, you'll always know what we're working toward and you'll hear yourself getting better.
