About Joe
My name is Joe, I have been playing guitar for over ten years now and have achieved my grade 8 in both the electric and bass guitar. Through my own tutors in the past, I have acquired a strong knowledge of music theory along with a wide variety of guitar playing techniques.
I’d consider myself a very versatile player and I’m very comfortable playing and teaching different styles and genres.

The nature of the lessons will be dependent on how you want to learn the instrument. If you want a more casual approach to learning then the lessons will be more focused on learning songs you want to be able to play and building up technique through playing, and less on the theory. However if you want a more thorough approach then there can be a heavier focus on music theory, scales and arpeggios, chord progressions as well as reading sheet music too.
Bottom line is, lessons will be set according to what your aims are for the guitar.
