I am a guitarist and bassist who studied BA Popular Music at Leeds Conservatoire, offering a student-led approach to learning focusing on what you want to learn.

I’ve known Ben for quite a while and he tutored me in guitar for about a year. He is an enthusiastic and approachable teacher who takes personal music tastes in to account when deciding on songs to demonstrate techniques, making it a lot easier for me to engage with the lessons and practice the techniques.

We had weekly lessons and his teaching style was engaging and effective, which helped massively and made me feel like I made progress each week. On top of this, he was easy to communicate with outside of our lessons and was available to answer any questions or assist with anything I was struggling with, often providing additional resources to help me achieve my goals.

Overall, I would highly recommend Ben as a guitar tutor to anyone looking to improve their ability or to those just starting. His expertise and ability to tailor the lessons to my taste, along with his willingness to support me whenever he could made for an excellent learning experience.
