About Kaia
I’m a dedicated guitar tutor with over 2 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Studio Music and Jazz, specializing in guitar. My background blends performance and production, giving students a modern and creative learning experience. I focus on helping you turn ideas into sound. Music becomes visual.
I teach electric, acoustic, classical, and bass guitar, with a strong focus on film and video game music. Lessons explore atmospheric textures, thematic writing, and expressive playing. You’ll learn how to create mood and emotion through your instrument.
I also guide students in sound design and using digital audio workstations. You’ll shape tones, layer sounds, and build immersive compositions. This connects guitar playing with real-world projects.
My teaching style is student-centered and flexible. I work with both youth and adult learners, adapting lessons to your goals. Let’s create music that brings cinematic and gaming worlds to life.

My teaching approach focuses on helping you become confident with both playing and understanding your guitar. I believe learning should be practical and enjoyable. You don’t just learn chords. You learn how your instrument works. This builds real confidence.
I teach guitar maintenance, string changing, and basic setup step by step. You will learn how to keep your guitar in good condition. I also explain guitar electronics and how tone controls affect your sound. Small changes can improve your playing experience.
We also explore effects pedals and tone shaping in simple ways. You will learn how to create the right sound for different settings. Lessons are tailored to your goals. Together, you’ll master your gear and feel ready to play anywhere.
