About Madeline
My passion for guitar began with curiosity about melody, harmony, and expressive potential. I earned a B.Mus in Guitar Performance, focusing on technique, repertoire, improvisation, and music theory. Over the past 7 years, I have taught students at all levels, emphasizing technical mastery, musical expression, and performance confidence. I teach with patience, clarity, and personalized guidance. Lessons integrate exercises, repertoire practice, improvisation, and performance coaching to help learners internalize musical concepts and develop independence. I encourage exploration, creativity, and critical listening to deepen understanding and build confidence. Outside teaching, I actively perform, study both classical and contemporary repertoire, and engage with music communities to enrich lessons. Witnessing students progress from tentative beginners to confident, expressive guitarists capable of performing independently is deeply rewarding. My mission is to cultivate both technical skill and artistic passion, enabling learners to develop lifelong musical expertise, creativity, and personal confidence.

Intermediate learners study barre chords, fingerstyle, improvisation, and intermediate repertoire. Advanced students focus on complex compositions, improvisation mastery, expressive interpretation, and performance preparation. Guided practice, feedback, and performance simulations promote independence and steady progress.
