About Delia
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance (Guitar) and have 7 years of experience teaching guitar to students of all levels. My teaching philosophy emphasizes technical mastery, creative expression, and performance confidence. I guide students in discovering their own musical voice while building a strong foundation in technique, theory, and stylistic interpretation. I create a positive, encouraging environment that fosters exploration and growth.
Lessons are adapted to the student’s level and objectives. Beginners work on basic chords, rhythm, and finger placement; intermediate learners refine scales, improvisation, and phrasing; advanced students focus on complex repertoire, stylistic nuance, and performance skills. Each lesson combines exercises, repertoire, and personalized feedback to ensure balanced growth.
Beyond teaching, I actively perform, explore different genres, and study contemporary and classical techniques to bring fresh insights into lessons. Supporting students in achieving technical skill, creative expression, and musical confidence is the most fulfilling part of my work.

My guitar lessons are designed to help learners strengthen technique, musical expression, and creative exploration. Lessons focus on finger positioning, chord voicing, strumming, picking techniques, scales, improvisation, solo phrasing, tone shaping, and performance skills. Students also explore diverse musical styles, including rock, blues, jazz, pop, and classical, to develop versatility and musical confidence. I create an encouraging environment where learners feel supported to experiment, make mistakes, and grow, while building both technical skill and artistic expression. Exercises, repertoire practice, improvisation, and performance simulations are combined to provide comprehensive skill development.
Lessons are personalized according to each student’s level and goals. Beginners focus on basic chords, strumming patterns, simple melodies, and rhythm exercises. Intermediate learners refine fingerstyle techniques, barre chords, scales, improvisation, and solo phrasing. Advanced students work on complex repertoire, stylistic interpretation, performance readiness, improvisation, and tone shaping. Each session integrates structured exercises, musical exploration, and feedback to ensure continuous growth and measurable progress.
The aim of my guitar lessons is to help students gain confidence, creativity, and technical skill. Students develop expressive playing, musical independence, and the ability to perform both solo and collaboratively. Lessons balance structured skill development with fun, interactive exercises that foster a lasting love for music.
