About Bettie
Graduating from the Curtis Institute of Music with an MMus in Music Performance provided the foundation for my 13 years of work. This rigorous training shapes how I teach power chords, acoustic technique, reading tabs, and reading sheet music with clarity. Strumming patterns and songwriting occupy space alongside essential chord transitions and tuning and maintenance protocols.
Music has remained my central focus since childhood, grounding my identity as a musician and mentor who prioritizes building technique without losing the joy of playing. Students frequently perform with confidence after a single term, though the process is always ongoing.
