About Rylan
I am an experienced Guitar tutor with over 13 years of teaching experience, working with school students, college students, and working professionals. Teaching guitar has allowed me to help students express themselves through music.
My teaching philosophy is based on personal attention, consistency, and encouragement. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to suit their pace and goals.
My lessons cover guitar fundamentals, chords, scales, rhythm control, strumming and fingerstyle techniques, and song performance. I also teach basic music theory in a clear and simple way.
Over the years, many of my students have performed at school programmes, college festivals, and informal events. Some have continued guitar learning as a long-term passion.
I believe music learning should be enjoyable and confidence-building. My goal is to help students grow musically and enjoy playing guitar.

My teaching style is based on clarity, patience, and real-world understanding of music. I believe Guitar should be taught in a simple and practical way. I use familiar songs, real practice situations, and small case studies to explain Guitar concepts clearly.
I take time to understand each student’s level, learning speed, and goals. Communication is open and respectful, helping students feel comfortable asking questions. Lessons are structured but flexible to allow steady progress.
Integrity plays a key role in my teaching. I focus on correct techniques, honest feedback, and disciplined practice. Guitar lessons include posture, finger technique, chord changes, rhythm control, and musical expression. Along with Guitar, I also teach relevant subjects such as basic music theory, listening skills, rhythm practice, and performance confidence. My goal is long-term musical growth.
