About Marilyn
Patience shapes my teaching character. 13 years of touring means I have seen every kind of musical hurdle.
Fingerpicking and blues progressions are my primary tools for instruction. I work with hobbyists and performance-focused students who want real results.
My background as a self-taught musician makes me accessible to all levels. I teach electric technique, music theory, and rhythm guitar. Ear training helps you hear the music inside your head. We will also cover reading tabs and grade exam prep.
Lead guitar skills will come after we build your foundation. You might just want to stop by and play a few songs.
