About Joshua
Power chords and chord transitions often feel like obstacles rather than music. I spent 13 years observing how guitarists struggle with barre chords or reading tabs before they find their groove. A degree from Berklee provides me the technical framework for music theory and electric technique. I use this knowledge to help kids and teens navigate blues progressions.
Keeping an instrument in good condition is part of the job. Tuning and maintenance are habits I teach early on. My background centers on the fact that playing is better than just studying. I have taught countless students to finally enjoy their practice time.
You deserve a teacher who makes the complex seem manageable. My approach is practical and grounded in real results.

You will start by playing along to my custom backing tracks that make soloing simple. These tracks allow you to practice improvisation techniques at home without feeling lost. Short exercises bridge the gap between theory and actual song performance.
